Starting out!

Well I want to start out hooping!! Main inspiration being Maggott from Emilie Autumn's recent tour!!

I think hooping is rather fun - I'm not that good at it, though.

I wish I was any good at that. Such a pretty hoop. Will you keep us updated on how your skills come along and when you learn new tricks?

Neat!! Hooping is such fun, but sadly I haven't mastered much yet. Just a lot of practice.

I had a hoop custom made from me by Mercedes of Chicago Hoop Dance and I love it! I think having a pretty hoop makes practicing a lot easier.



Just be aware that you might get bruises in the beginning. I had to practice and then stop till the bruises went away and practice more. Now I don't get bruised at all. Here are my battle wounds:

Will probably take me ages to master anything. I have a very defeatest attitude and give up far too easily on these things!!

Aww ya can't give up! I used to be that way all the time but I realized that I was in for a real frustrating time, so I tried my best and slowly over time my attitude did change. I also see that it's made me a lot more confident and ready to try new things! Hell, I wouldn't be here if it weren't for that change in attitude! Good luck to you, just remember - you can do it!!

I think my beloved has bought me a hoop for my Xmas. There was a large round looking parcel waiting when I came home tonight XD
