Hopefully I'll be getting Soft Poi for Christmas. Although I'm not sure if I would ever work up to fire!! I'm a bit of a liability when it comes to dangerous stuff!!

I LOVE POI!

I wish that vid was of better quality... I like it when you can really see how intricate the patterns are. Woot for mental ginger cousins who do live shows in a 9x9... lol...

I was given some Poi a Christmas ago, but I've never managed to get past the 'hitting-myself-in-the-head' stage. Pity, as I'm pretty sure that's what killed my Helix piercing in the end...

Like you, October, I have some but can't seem to get past hitting myself in the head constantly and not doing much of anything else. I can spin them around in circles, but once I start moving with it, it just starts to hurt. Sad

I'm hoping to pick them up again next summer. It's a nice activity for sunshine and bare feet in the grass Smile

I would definitely LOVE to eventually do fire poi, and even fire hooping - anyone seen that? Amazing.
